Rybniye Korma JSC, a resident of SEZ Lotus, is completing the construction and finishing of the production premises, as well as the installation of equipment. The facility is about 80% ready. It will produce fish and pet feed. According to representatives of the company, the start of production is scheduled to start in April-May, 2023.
- Initially, the company plans to produce 25,000 tons per year, with a further expansion to 50 million tons. More than 100 new work places will be created at the plant. The launch of such a plant is an important event for the entire feed industry in Russia, since the share of imported feed in certain areas of fish farming is about 90%, commented Sergey Milushkin, Director General of SEZ Lotus JSC.
The main specialization is feed for sturgeon and catfish. Feed for trout, salmon, sea bass and dorado will also be produced. The feed will be based on raw materials grown in the Astrakhan region. In addition to fish feed, the enterprise is ready to produce pet feed - thanks to the high flexibility of the developed technology, production can be adjusted to the needs of the buyer and produce the feed of the required modification without losing quality and competitive market ability.
