Two new SEZ “Lotus” tenants will invest about 20 billion rubles

The Supervisory and Expert Council have approved Russian companies «Protelux Lotos» and «InProekt». They will become tenants of the SEZ "Lotus" by the end of the year. The total amount of announced investments for the implementation of both projects is about 20 billion rubles.

A great weight of investments falls on the Russian company "Protelux Lotos", which, according to the business plan, invests 19.3 billion rubles in the production of bioprotein on the territory of the SEZ “Lotus”. The project was presented by Evgeny Luneev, a member of the Board of Directors of JSC "Protelux".

The source of the bioprotein will be a bacterium that feeds on natural gas. The resulting protein can be used to produce high-quality feed for cattle, as well as adequate pet food. At present, there are no analogues of technology of the production of bioprotein.

Another Russian company - «InProekt» plans to start production of multipurpose drone platforms and the creation of an information analytical center for the collection and processing of information received from them. The drone is made of composite materials. Such vessel can be used as a carrier of existing measuring equipment, for analysis of fish stocks, integrated monitoring of the environment, in oceanology and hydrography, exploration of offshore oil and gas fields.
